The
Muddy Farmer, Auckland Irish Pub, is a unique
pub full of relics and genuine Irish memorabilia.
The tables, chairs, ornaments, even the pictures
were transported across the world in seven large
containers to captivate the atmosphere of a real
Irish Pub.
The Muddy Farmer is underneath the Heritage Hotel,
which was formally the old Farmers building, hence
the name 'The Muddy Farmer'.
The pub has 4 distinctive areas...
The
Brewery reflects the tradition of stout
in Ireland and recognises the importance of Guinness
to an Irish Pub.
The Shop pays homage to the original
Farmers department store that used to occupy this
site.
The Cottage celebrates the farming
traditions of both New Zealand and Ireland, two
agricultural countries on opposite sides of the
world.
The Snug – a private area
of traditional Irish pubs where women were allowed
to drink.
We also cater for Private Functions click here

'Beannachtam na Feile Padraig’ or ‘ Happy St Patricks Day!’
For the past 11 years, The Muddy Farmer has closed our section of the street (Wyndham St, between Nelson St and Hobson St) to celebrate its biggest day of the year! Every year is bigger and better than the last, and this year will be no exception!
Our street party begins with a breakfast at 7am - 11:00am. Tickets for the brunch cost $20 each and include entry to the venue, a full cooked breakfast and a free pint! Please pre-book your places early to avoid disappointment.
From 1pm onwards, there will be an entry charge of $5, there will be an all day BBQ and live music, Irish dancers, face painters etc throughout the day.
In past years, the queue to get into the street party has at peak times been more than an hour long so it pays to get here early!
If you wish to make a booking for the brunch or should you have any further enquiries, please feel free to give us a call on 09 336 1265.
Look forward to seeing you on St Patricks day
Until then
Sláinte!
